NDT - RTII Technician

BakosNDT is a growing and leading provider of non-destructive testing services in Western Canada, with services offered to all industrial sectors. We are currently seeking a fulltime permanent RT Technicians based in Edmonton to support our growing operations team.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and calibrate testing equipment
• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects)
• Devise ways to examine objects, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
• Interpret test results (e.g. radiographs, digital readouts)
• Evaluate results according to specifications and standards
• Organize and report test results

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• CGSB Level 2 RT Certification.
• Reside within the Edmonton, AB area.
• Strong work ethics.
• Ability to maintain positive working relations with clients.
• Exceptional safety and quality awareness.
• Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively.
• Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong communication skills with client and maintenance personnel.
