Finance Administrator

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Finance Administrator to support our finance and operations teams. This position can be based out of our Sherwood Park or Red Deer office.

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify payroll and billing data to ensure accuracy and completeness

• Compile and enter billing information into client systems and reconcile with internal records

• Track project costs, manage POs, and support client invoicing

• Prepare payroll entries and overtime timesheets for salaried employees

• Coordinate subcontractor time tracking, invoicing, and cost reconciliation

• Assist with accounts payable processes and intercompany invoicing

• Generate and submit required client and contractual reports

• Provide general finance support to the Assistant Controller as needed

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience in payroll, invoicing, and time & attendance tracking—ideally supporting field operations

• Proven ability to process high volumes of data accurately and efficiently

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; general familiarity with accounting systems

• Experience using client-specific systems is considered an asset

• Business or Office Administration certificate, diploma, or degree is an asset

• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to build professional relationships

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision

• Previous experience in an industrial or field-based environment is an asset

• Superior English communication skills

• Must reside in the Sherwood Park, AB or Red Deer, AB area
