Streamline Inspection Ltd. is looking for a certified Level 3 IRATA Rope Access Technician based in the Edmonton or Calgary regions. Positions are available for ongoing project work, primarily in Northern AB but with opportunities in other areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in or personally complete setups of all ropes and equipment for access, ensuring safe rigging.
  • Sign off on Level 2 rope access setups to confirm they meet safety standards.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork including rope access rescue plans, safety forms, FLHA’s and daily toolbox talks.
  • Assist with leading the crew and managing assigned scopes of work, including coordinating tasks and addressing client questions.
  • Mentor newer rope access employees, providing guidance and on-the-job coaching.
  • Inspect and maintain rope access equipment, administer regular safety checks, and ensure gear is kept in optimal condition.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • IRATA Level 3 certification with proven Level 3 project leadership experience.
  • Proven leadership in rigging, rescue, safety management, and project coordination.
  • Experience working on plant‑site environments (refinery or similar).
  • Additional CGSB NDE Certifications (UT 1 or other) or API 510/570 certifications are strong asset.
  • Current certifications in First Aid, H2S Alive, Confined Space Entry/Rescue, Fall Protection, Common Safety Orientation.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract.
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently as well as lead projects in fast‑paced environments.
