Position Details:

 

Echo NDE is currently seeking a Temporary API 570 Visual Inspector to support our operations at our client site. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform visual and non-destructive examinations of piping systems in accordance with API 570 standards.

  • Prepare detailed inspection reports outlining findings, recommendations, and compliance status.

  • Ensure all inspections adhere to safety regulations and company procedures.

  • Provide recommendations for repairs or replacements based on inspection findings.

  • Verify materials and workmanship conform to applicable codes and specifications.

  • Interact with clients to discuss inspection results and proposed remedial actions.

  • Mentor junior inspectors and assist in their training and development.

 

Requirements:

  • API 570 Certified Piping Inspector.

  • Proven experience in piping inspection, preferably in oil and gas or petrochemical industries.

  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards such as ASME, API, and ANSI.

  • Proficiency in non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques and inspection methodologies.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong commitment to safety practices and regulations.

  • Ability to analyze data, identify issues, and propose effective solutions.

  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

  • Willingness to travel and work in various locations as required.

  • Possess good analytical skills, detail oriented.
  • Be able to pass a vision and color detection test.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license minimum (class 5) with a clean driving record.
