Project NDT Technician - UT2/MT2

Position Details:

Echo NDE is currently seeking temporary short-term project based CGSB MT2, UT2 Technicians to support our support project turnaround operations near Fort McMurray.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and calibrate testing equipment.
• Conducts tests on parts, following procedures established for specified inspection task being performed.
• Evaluate results according to specifications and standards.
• Assist with various other inspection tasks.
• Organize and report test result.
• Adhere to all company quality and safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure that Worksite Safety Procedures are adhered to at all times.

 Requirements:

• Ultrasonic Testing UTI or UTII CGSB Certification. 
• Magnetic Particle Testing MTII CGSB Certification.
• Reside locally to the Fort McMurray, AB or willing to relocate. 
• Preference for facility, pipeline and weld inspection (structural and pressure).
• Possess good analytical skills, detail oriented.
• Be able to communicate clearly in writing and verbally (English).
• Be able to pass a vision and color detection test.
• Possess a valid driver’s license minimum (class 5) with a clean driving record.
• Able to work well within a team environment.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to work long ours and weekends away from home base.
