Position Summary

TriQuest NDT is a wholly owned subsidiary of Rockwood Service Corporation and provides full service non-destructive testing, inspection, and integrity services throughout North America to the Oil & Gas industry, Manufacturing, Fabrication, Power Generation, In-Service Piping, and Above Ground Storage Tanks. 

 

We are currently seeking temporary short-term project based CEDO Technicians to support our support project turnaround operations near Fort McMurray.

 

This position is for a turn around project estimated for Spring 2025 from Late April/Early May to Late May for around 6 weeks.  

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Set up and calibrate testing equipment.
  • Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects).
  • Devise ways to examine objects, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.
  • Adhere to all company quality and safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that MEG Energy Safety Procedures are adhered to at all times

 Requirements:

  • Certified Exposure Device Operator (CEDO) or Exposure Device Operator (EDO).
  • NDT Trainee with Radiographic Testing (RT) experience.
  • CGSB MT Certification would be considered an asset.
  • Reside locally to the Fort McMurray, AB or willing to relocate. Fly in Fly out relocation terms to be negotiated.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Facility maintenance and construction experience.
  • Pipeline Integrity and Construction experience.
  • Capable of making knowledgeable, integrity-based decisions.
  • Familiarization of NDE methods (Conventional and Advanced).
  • Strong communication skills with client and maintenance personnel.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license minimum (class 5) with a clean driving record.
  • Able to work well within a team environment.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Able to work long hours and weekends away from home base.
  • Willingness to travel to Fort McMurray, AB for project.
  • Carestream Computed Radiography (CR) experience would be considered and asset.
  • Digital Radiography (DR) experience would be considered and asset.
