Echo is currently recuiting for Pipeline Integrity NDT Trainees to support their pipeline division across Western Canada and the Unites States.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist Senior Technicians with Non-Destructive testing techniques in the field
  • Locate, identify, and interpret pipeline flaws utilizing various NDE inspection methods.
  • Review of pipeline integrity inspection report, including assisting other pipeline integrity technicians with reporting.
  • Set up, calibrate, and maintain inspection
  • Conducts inspections on parts, following procedures established for specified inspection task being performed.
  • Assist with various other inspection tasks.
  • Adhere to all company quality and safety policies and procedures.

 

Requirements:

  • Formal NDT classroom training
  • Field experience would be considered an asset
  • Ability to work away from home for extended periods and work extended hours when required
  • Possess good analytical skills, detail oriented.
  • Be able to communicate clearly in writing and verbally (English).
  • Be able to pass a vision and color detection test.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license minimum (class 5) with a clean driving record.
  • Able to work well within a team environment.
